Vendimia - Wine harvest
05 to 08 March
Buenos Aires > Ciudad de Mendoza
Venidimia, or Wine Harvest, is probably the festival that attracts the biggest crowds in Argentina. As the vineyards harvest their grapes for the year, the wine producing areas of the country celebrate in street parades, food and wine festivals, concerts, parties and beauty pageants. Vendimia closes with a music festival that usually includes a line-up of popular Latin American bands.
