  National Malambo Festival

  This festival is a celebration of Argentina’s traditional Malambo folk dance – a cross between a macho tap dance and an energetic Irish dance, performed by lasso-swirling gauchos in full get-up and generously heeled boots. Participants from all over the country compete for the Malambo title.
