    This museum in Salta is home to one of the most important arqueological finds of recent years: the human remains of the “Niños del Llullaillaco” (Llullaillaco children). These indigenous mummies, discovered in 1999, are over 500 years old and extremely well preserved due to the region’s altitude. The museum offers an insight into a fascinating indigenous culture that is still very much alive today.
